From distant landscapes and the life that inhabits them, this exhibition is a journey to the purest essence of humanity. My work stems from a quest to capture the intangible: that which is unspoken, yet vibrates in a glance, in every gesture. With roots in Santander and a fascination for painting, I have found in oil paint and large formats an intimate language to narrate the emotions that reside in the faces of the people I encounter along the way.

Each portrait holds the echo of stories yet to be told: the hope shining in a girl's eyes , the strength etched in a farmer's wrinkles , or the infinite serenity of one who has walked long days through time . The earthy tones, soft yet vibrant, define each figure, reflecting the warmth of their humanity and their connection to the land.

With each brushstroke, I invite you to pause, to look beyond the obvious and find the hidden truth in simplicity. These portraits are not merely representations; they are a tribute to what is authentic, natural, and to the beauty that blossoms in the small gestures of everyday life.

In every stroke of their brushstrokes there is a reflection of myself. Their expressions, their gestures , and their silences stay with me, like plants growing in a garden . I paint to better inhabit this world and to recognize myself in what I find.

Farmers, grandparents, and children have taught me to see things differently. In their eyes there is calm and strength, and many stories that need no words. I paint to give voice to what often goes unnoticed, to highlight what is authentic and natural.

In every stroke there is something alive , like in a garden where every plant, every shadow, and every light has its reason for being. I mix soft colors and more intense tones that intersect as if searching for one another. And while I paint, I also find myself: in a glance, in a wrinkle, in a gesture that speaks and shouts silences.
